ARC Raiders Bug Tracker
A personal list of encountered issues in ARC Raiders. For feedback around more general issues, see my ARC Raiders Feedback article instead.
Ongoing Issues
Incorrect Venator Ammo Consumption Rate
The Venator only consumes one bullet per shot, despite the description and gun model suggesting it should consume two bullets per shot.
Door Interaction in Stella Montis Lobby Security Checkpoint
Players can get locked in the upper floor room due to a lack of an interactable button within the room. Embark initially moved the crate obstructing the button, but due to not testing their fixes they failed to realize there was no button interaction to begin with. They also forgot to rotate the crate, so now its interaction faces the wall.
Issues Around Proximity & Line of Sight Checks in Spawn System
Across most maps, it is currently possible to spawn within less than 20 meters of other players, and within their direct Line of Sight. A bandaid fix was implemented for Stella Montis, but the issue still remains in some cases across all maps.
Out of Bounds Exploits on Stella Montis
The most egregious issue was a zipline in the ceiling allowing players to clip through the map and shoot others through walls. The zipline was finally removed after a month (Dec 11th 2025), but the geometry collisions remained unfixed leading to players being able to zipline or snap hook through. Without mentioning other collision mesh holes elsewhere in the map allowing the same exploit.
Inaccessible User Interface in Post-Match Report
When hovering stacked actions in the post-match report map, most are hidden behind a "more" piece of text which is uninteractive, meaning it cannot be expanded to view the full list. It is also impossible to view many stacked events due to one element obstructing the rest.
Audio Zones Fidelity
In many areas, audio zones are improperly set up which causes you to hear distant audio much clearer than nearby audio. Often times in entirely different map sections.
Trophies & Achievements Broken on Multiple Platforms
More common on PS5, but also present on other platforms. This issue has been ongoing since release, and Embark has shown no interest in fixing it whatsoever. On the ARC Raiders #bug-reports discord channel, reports around this issue have been deleted on multiple occasions by Embark staff for virtually no reason.
Matriarch & Queen Stomping Damage Passing Through Structures
As with many other things in ARC Raiders, the Matriarch and Queen stomping damage have incorrect hitboxes, which leads to players taking damage from, for instance, the Queen stepping on the Harvester while within it.
ARC Damage Passing Through Geometry
In many areas, like the loading bay ramp in Stella Montis, ARC damage passes straight through map geometry. From personal experience this can be reproduced consistently by getting a Shredder to damage you through the upper area of the ramp's concrete railing.
Item Purchasing & Crafting UI Reseting
While adjusting item quantities or attempting to purchase items, the item counter will sometimes reset to 1 and cancel your attempt to purchase or craft an item.
Movement Physics Exploit at Spaceport Launch Tower
Thought Embark fixed exploiters' ability to walk through the wall due to a hole in the map's collision mesh, it's still possible to get into the exact same area by walking, sprinting and rolling into the tight spaces by the large pipes in the back of Launch Tower's staircase areas. You're slowly propelled upwards through the pipe connections until you eventually get shot through the ceiling and wall, landing in about the same spot as the past exploit.
Lack of Server & Client Authoritative Measures
Players are able to infinitely reconnect to raids they've died in with a console command or simple server request. Embark claimed they fixed the exploit, but only disabled the -newconsole launch argument on Steam - both the console and vulnerabilities are still fully accessible through other means like Epic Games and exposed client-side APIs which weren't considered by Embark.
Out of Bounds Exploits in Stella Montis Loading Bay
You can go beyond Loading Bay's shipping container walls by rolling or mantling in gaps, as Embark's level designers didn't bother adding collision volumes across the length of the walls. Instead they naively thought the physical containers would be enough. Lootable container trays can also be found within these out-of-bounds areas.

Fixed
Fixed (2025/12/11)Collision Mesh Hole in Spaceport
A lack of collision fidelity allowed players to clip through the wall by the stairs of Spaceport's launch tower, leading to players killing others from within and under the map geometry. The specific instance was eventually fixed.
Fixed (2026/01/13)Kettle Rapidfire Macro Exploit
The Kettle can be rapid-fired with macros due to too loose a cap on rate of fire. Embark deployed a hamfisted fix which reduced the rate of fire to 450 RPM, but now clicking too quickly causes the Kettle to feel like it's jammed due to a lack of input buffering/queueing which is also present with the Venator.
Fixed (2026/01/27)Incorrect Extraction Volume in Stella Montis Seed Vault Extract
The collision volume within the Seed Vault extraction doesn't extend to cover the entire room, allowing players to hug the wall beyond the fan blades and camp from within the extraction area without being pulled out of the match.
